Lockdown Gallery

Yesterday, in the morning after class,

I did this Lockdown Gallery we had to do. So basically, all of the activities and work we did while in lockdown, we put them in one slide and it becomes like a gallery.

I put in some pictures of my maths, posters, art, slides, and one of the Rata fale (house) activities.

I hope you like my gallery and that it isn't too messy!

Here it is: 👇👇👇

My Year 5 Memento

 Hey Bloggers,

About 2 days ago, we did a memento. The years 6s did a slightly different one. It's a little bit like an 'All About Me' because there are some parts which asks you some stuff about yourself.

I found it fun to do because it made me think about what happened this year, and I liked customising the backgrounds and fonts.

This is my memento below:

Responsible Community Poster

a few days ago, We did a poster for Responsible Community. It's kind of similar to another post, which is called 'Public Service Announcement'. I also posted that one a while ago. Also, before this post there should be a Canva poster which is called 'Responsible Poster'.  This poster is for responsibility in the community. I really enjoyed making this poster. I hope you like it!

Here is my poster below:

Responsible Poster

 Hi Bloggers!

About a week ago, my class and I made this poster. I made another Canva poster which is called 'Public Service Announcement. You can scroll down a bit and you'll find it. Or you can just click this link:  https://nwsnajihas.blogspot.com/2021/10/psa.html#comment-form

Also, above this post should be a post called 'Responsible Community Poster'

We had to make a catchy poster, with a short sentence, saying what we want to be responsible for.  Here is the link to my poster:  https://www.canva.com/design/DAEv7jMOg1A/LbP_ygwSpGfL676n3AfjKA/view?utm_content=DAEv7jMOg1A&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link&utm_source=publishsharelink

Algebra

 Hey bloggers!

Yesterday our teacher told us to do this algebra activity. He sent us a slide which had the instructions on what to do. For task 1, we had to make a drawing in google drawings. We needed to have 16 cans, but each box only holds 4. So we had to figure out how many boxes we needed.

For task 2, we needed to have 72 cans. Each box could hold 9 cans. The same thing as task 1, we had to figure out how many boxes we need.

This is basics of algebra since we're still learning. I still learned a lot from this task. It's basically normal maths, with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. But, it has variables.

I hope you learnt something from this too!

Here is my drawing of the task we had to do:👇👇👇

Rangitoto Sunrise

Hello, Welcome back to my blog!

Today I realised that I haven't posted this writing on my blog. We did this a few months ago before lockdown. It's a descriptive piece of writing of Rangitoto Sunrise. Our teacher showed us a video of the sun rising 🌅

Here's my writing below! Hope you like it😊

My Paper Diwali Design

Hi again. Today for Diwali I made a paper Diwali design🎆🎇🎇

Our teacher sent us a slide full of Diwali facts, and different activities you could do. There were tutorials on how to make it. Here is a link to the tutorial that I followed: https://youtu.be/69mgQqqJ_t0

Also here is a link for the slide with all the activities and tutorials that you can do too!

https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1HjBKXM0Xl25I1stcguGeVYcNjp0z5HkoLtjciK-NWWk/edit#slide=id.g9b6b5d382b_0_0

It was pretty fun and easy to make 😊

I really enjoyed it and I think you would enjoy it too.

Tip: You need some sharp scissors to cut this since when you cut it, it's gonna be folded.

There are also some small spaces to cut, which is going to be a bit challenging. You may want one of your parents to help you cut the small areas.

What you need:

  • A4 paper (make it into a square)
  • Sharp scissors
  • Pencil (to draw the design)

I hope that helps to make your own Diwali paper design!
